RSC Associated School

Since 2018, St. Peter’s has been apart of the Royal Shakespeare Company Associated Schools Program. As part of the Blackpool and Fylde Cluster, it has put on shows with other partner schools at The Grand Theatre in Blackpool and performed on the stage at fellow associate schools. In addition, our children have regularly supported the RSC when they come to Blackpool with their First Encounters tours. This gives our children an amazing opportunity to perform on stage with some of the finest actors the RSC has to offer. Furthermore, our children have not only been to Stratford-Upon-Avon to visit the birth place of William Shakespeare but also performed on the stage at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Not only have the children thrived with the RSC but our own Mr Kidd was selected to be a director mentor for all of the Blackpool and Fylde Cluster schools when they performed in Stratford and now supports new teachers as they join the cluster.
